Volunteers are the heart of the Mattie Williams Center — whether you can give a few hours a week or help during special events — we appreciate your time and support.

FOOD PANTRY
When: Mon, Tues, Wed, Fri flexible | Thurs 9-11am or 5-6pm
Impact: Serving 200+ families weekly
Who Can Volunteer: Individuals, Teens (17+)
Commitment Level: Flexible and recurring
Physical Requirements: Standing, Walking, Lifting , Twisting
Good Fit For: Volunteers who enjoy staying active and helping face-to-face
CLOTHING CLOSET
Current Hours: Mon–Thurs 10–4
Duties: Sort donations, stock items, assist shoppers
Schedule: Flexible recurring shifts
Who Can Volunteer: Individuals, Teens (17+)
Commitment Level: Scheduled and ongoing
Physical Requirements: Standing, Lifting, Bending
Good Fit For: Volunteers who enjoy hands-on work and supporting families
FRONT DESK
Hours: Mon–Wed 8:30–5 | Thurs until 6 | Fri until 12
Duties: Phones, greeting guests, directing visitors
Who Can Volunteer: Individuals
Commitment Level: Scheduled and ongoing
Good Fit For: Friendly, organized volunteers who enjoy meeting people
Bilingual: Yes, this is an added plus
