The Center offers wraparound assistance and resources that help break the cycle of poverty and stabilize families and children. Working one-on-one with families and individuals, our staff addresses immediate needs; health and mental health concerns; prevention services; job readiness and financial literacy. The staff matches the best resources and benefits available to address those needs.

Communities Served

The Center helps people that live in Safety Harbor, Oldsmar and eastern Clearwater within the following zip codes: 34695, 34677, 33759, and 33761.

Critical Need Help

Utility Assistance

Limited financial assistance is available for water and electric bills and only available for residents 55+ in zip codes 33761 and 33759. All bills must be in “overdue” status. Clients must bring a photo ID and proof of residency, e.g., utility bill.

Food Stamps & Medicaid

The Center staff will help individuals and families apply for food stamp and Medicaid assistance through ACCESS Florida.

Clothing Closet

As of March 2024, donations and access to the Clothing Closet are paused as we begin the construction phase of our building expansion at 1003 Dr. MLK Jr. St. N. May we suggest you take your donations to the Holy Spirit Episcopal Church at 601 Philippe Parkway, Safety Harbor.

Free income tax assistance from the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program (VITA) is available for those eligible.
