Food Pantry Assistant
$15 – $18 an hour – Part-time
The role of the Food Pantry Assistant is to support the operation of the MWNFC Food Pantry. This active and physical role works closely with the Food Pantry Director, the staff, and volunteers to ensure clients are served in a compassionate and professional manner. The Food Pantry Assistant assists in purchasing food for the pantry, picking up food from food distribution sites, which includes locations such as Publix, Walmart, St. Pete Free Clinic, and Feeding Tampa Bay sites, maintaining an inventory of food on hand, and the distribution of the food to the clients on a daily and weekly basis.
Additionally, the Food Pantry Assistant needs to adhere to the regulations of Feeding Tampa Bay, Hope Villages of America, and USDA and maintain a food handler license.
Hours: Monday thru Friday 18-20 hours a week
After School Program Staff Position
$17.50 an hour – Part-time
The Mattie Williams Neighborhood Family Center is looking for an experienced child educator to join our after-school team.
- The After School Program Staff supervises a group of children for homework completion, playground games, snack, and indoor curriculum/activities.
- The candidate should have the ability to relate to and communicate with children, create a friendly and welcoming environment, and supervise a group of children to ensure safety. The candidate should have childcare or counselor experience.
Hours: Monday thru Friday 2:00 – 6:00pm
