Mattie Williams Neighborhood Family Center
Our mission is to nurture and strengthen children, youth, adults, families and communities through education, support services and collaborative partnerships to help people improve their lives and achieve self-sufficiency.
This Saturday, EVERYONE IS WELCOME to hang out with staff from Mattie Williams at a local community event designed just for families. You'll find food giveaways, community resources, school supplies, children's craft activities PLUS free health screenings (the Lions Club of Safety Harbor is offering free vision screenings), and a food truck (while supplies last). It's for families of all ages, and grand families. Brought to you by Juvenile Welfare Board of Pinellas County and www.speakupformentalhealth.org hosted by the First Presbyterian of Safety Harbor. Starts at 11:00am and goes to 2:00pm. See you Saturday!

Cookie season is here, but don’t fill your freezer just yet.
Our Girl Scout Troop will have an official Cookie Booth at the Center on February 18, and every purchase directly supports their troop activities, leadership development, and community service projects.
If you love Thin Mints, Samoas, and Tagalongs, this is your chance to support local girls while getting your favorites. Mark your calendar and we'll see you Feb. 18th!

Join us at North Greenwood Recreation Center on Jan. 19 for a celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day in collaboration with the NAACP Upper Pinellas Chapter. This event will feature a ticketed breakfast event at 8 a.m. with programming and speeches from 9-11 a.m. March to follow immediately after.

Today is Human Trafficking Awareness Day, a critical reminder that child trafficking increasingly begins online—often through interactions happening right under the noses of parents and caregivers.
